Instead of using traditional handicaps, Fairway Club uses weekly flights based on that week's scores.
We've found that handicap leagues often leave teams in the middle of the pack with very little chance of winning. Low-handicap teams are expected to shoot great scores every week, while high-handicap teams typically only contend when they have an exceptional round. As a result, many teams spend the season feeling like they're playing for the middle.
Our weekly flight system gives every team a fresh opportunity to compete each week. After all scores are submitted, teams are grouped into three flights based on that week's results and earn points by competing against similar scores. This creates more weekly winners, keeps the season competitive, and gives every team a realistic chance to be in the hunt.
It also keeps the league simple. There's no need to maintain handicaps throughout the season, substitute players don't affect a team's handicap, and you never have to worry about handicap manipulation or "ringers" changing the competitive balance.
We believe it's a fairer, more enjoyable format that rewards great play while giving every team something to compete for each week.

If you know you'll miss your scheduled league night, please contact Logan as soon as possible to arrange a make-up round before the weekly scoring deadline whenever possible.
If your team misses a week and does not complete a make-up round, you'll receive 0 points for that week. Since only your best 17 of 20 weeks count toward the season standings, an occasional missed week won't necessarily hurt your championship chances.
If an unforeseen circumstance prevents your team from playing, Fairway Club may approve a make-up round after the scoring deadline at management's discretion.
You're also welcome to use a substitute player if one teammate is unavailable.
-
Yes, if space is available. Teams may permanently move to another league night or tee time if an opening exists. Temporary week-to-week changes are not permitted outside of approved make-up rounds.
-
Yes! If one of your teammates can't make it, you're welcome to have a substitute play in their place. There's no need to notify us ahead of time.
-
Your team selects a day and tee time when registering and keeps that same schedule throughout the season.
-
Please use personal discretion on driving in bad weather. Always put your safety first and contact Logan for a makeup.
Only two places that never close down… the hospital and The Fairway Club!
-
If teams are tied at the end of the season, we'll first attempt to hold an on-course playoff. If scheduling doesn't allow for a playoff, the tie will be broken using a scorecard playoff based on the most recent week both teams competed.

Complete the interest form and Logan will contact you to finalize your registration, assign your league night and tee time, and collect payment.
